Breathing In, I enjoy my In-breath
How do you explain the profound teachings of Thich Nhat Hahn or the beauty of permaculture to someone who has never heard of anything like it and who will not pick up a book to save his life? I suppose if you have graceful speaking skills and the ability to make something complex into something short and interesting, you don’t have a problem. But if you’re like me, you don’t know where to start.
However, yesterday I was sitting in the optometrist office, waiting for my name to be called and came across a website URL in a magazine. When I made it home, I visited My Path*TV and found a wonderful broadband televsion website which allows you to watch hours upon hours of programming aimed at enriching your body, soul, and mind. For the first time, I actually saw Thich Nhat Hahn speak his own words. I then browsed through the website more and found programs on numerous topics I love but haven’t read up on lately. Just watching some clips sparked some renewed interest in old passions and taught me some new things as well. And even my television-addicted husband watched with me, allowing me to share some of my favorite ideas without making him feel weird. So this will defiantly be a website I’ll be viewing again.
